ÇAMLICA MOSQUE LIGHTING

With a capacity of 63.000 people, Çamlıca Mosque has been announced as the largest mosque in Turkey.

The main chandelier in the mosque is the largest chandelier we have produced in our 40-year business history, with 3 rings of 32, 24 and 16 meters in diameter, a height of 60 meters and a weight of approximately 7 tonnes.

The specially shaped chandelier body made of aluminium is clad with gold-plated brass plates, top and bottom with titanium-coated stainless steel and finished with a patterned coating representing eternity.

In addition to the chandelier, corner dome chandeliers with a diameter of 12 metres and sconces with gold-plated bodies and prismatic crystal glass diffusers were used to illuminate the entire mosque. The same crystal glass and decorated diffusers were used in their construction.

For direct and indirect lighting, Tunable White LED light sources, where the colour temperature can be controlled, are positioned above and below the chandelier body, and all lighting elements are installed in such a way that they can be centrally controlled by the DALI control system for brightness level and colour temperature adjustments.

Self-powered emergency lighting elements are used on the chandeliers, which will function as emergency lighting in case of power cuts and provide direct lighting.
